Jerry Bravi sur Bravi F1
Préambule : Moi qui ait vécu en Amérique du sud plus précisément au Brésil j’ai été étonné de constater la richesse du sport automobile. En effet, en Amérique du sud on retrouve dans les championnats nationaux des voitures qui ne dépareilleraient pas dans les championnats européens.
Dans les années 60 en Argentine, il y avait divers championnat dont un championnat de formule 1, de Sport prototypes et d’autres de diverses catégories. Les courses en Argentine étaient tellement réputées que nos constructeurs et nos pilotes européens participaient aux « temporada Argentina » où l’on voyait les pilotes de F1 (Petterson, G Hill, Shenken, Wissel, Reggazzoni, de Adamich, Hailwood, J Hunt, etc…) sans oublier les courses de Sports prototype où l’on retrouvait les autos du championnat mondial (Lola, Porsche 908 & 917, Matra, Alfa 33, Ferrari, etc…) avec leurs pilotes habituels.

Preamble: I, who have lived in South America more specifically in Brazil, was surprised to see the richness of motorsport. Indeed, in South America we find in the national championships cars which would not mismatch in the European championships.
In the 60s in Argentina, there were various championships including Formula 1, Sport prototypes and others from various categories. The races in Argentina were so famous that our manufacturers and our European drivers took part in the “temporada Argentina” where we saw F1 drivers (Petterson, G Hill, Shenken, Wissel, Reggazzoni, de Adamich, Hailwood, J Hunt, etc. …) Without forgetting the Prototype Sports races where we found the cars of the world championship (Lola, Porsche 908 & 917, Matra, Alfa 33, Ferrari, etc…) with their usual drivers.
A cette époque il y avait beaucoup de petits constructeurs en Argentine dont les deux plus importants et prolifiques furent Oreste Berta (Berta) et Jerry Bravi.

Jerry Bravi a commencé en 1965 par la construction d’une formule 3, et par la suite, il a fabriqué un très grand nombre d’autos de compétition destinées aux courses sur terres et sur circuit.
