Cette Delahaye 135 est récupérée dans les années 70 par Maurice Broual (Atelier de carrosserie ACB) chez un carrossier de la région parisienne Marcel Chavet, installé au 42 bis bd du château à Neuilly sur Seine. Installée dans les années 20 la carrosserie Marcel Chavet cessa ses activités à la fin des années 70.
Marcel Chavet est connu pour avoir souvent utilisé le système de construction WEYMANN pour certaines carrosseries fermées. Avant de cesser son activité, il avait entrepris la restauration d'une Delahaye 135 (l'auto que nous proposons) et il céda ce projet ainsi que 5 autres châssis 135 avec leurs mécaniques à Maurice Broual.
Sur notre Delahaye 135, Marcel Chavet avait préparé le châssis, terminé la carrosserie bois (structure en bois) de l'auto et avait fabriqué les ailes de l'auto quand il céda tout ce matériel à Maurice Broual. Maurice Broual laissa à l'abandon le projet quand Michel et Pascal Lagrèze achetèrent en 1987 l'ensemble du matériel.
En 2007, je vendis 5 châssis avec leurs mécaniques au propriétaire actuel, qui à l'issue d'un travail remarquable de restauration termina la restauration en 2013.
La Delahaye 135MS se présente en roadster deux places sur châssis de type court, de couleur bleu marine et bleu clair, Sellerie cuir bleu clair, phares anti brouillard Marchal, roues à rayon Rudge de 18", moteur 6cyl à 3 carburateurs et échappement de type MS à six sorties en un, boite de vitesse COTAL.
La carrosserie a été terminée dans le style Guilloré ou Figoni. Cette auto est digne d'être présentée dans les plus grands concours d’élégance.

This Delahaye 135 is recovered in the 70s by Maurice Broual (body shop ACB) at a coachbuilder in the Paris region Marcel Chavet, installed at 42 bis bd du chateau in Neuilly sur Seine. Installed in the 1920s the bodywork Marcel Chavet, he ceased his activities in the late 1970s.
He used the WEYMANN construction system for certain closed bodies. When he ceased his activity, he had undertaken the restoration of a 135 delahaye (the car that we propose) and he ceded this project as well as 5 other chassis 135 with their mechanical at Maurice Broual.
On our Delahaye 135, Marcel Chavet had prepared the chassis, finished the wooden bodywork (wooden structure) of the car and had made the wings of the car when he gave all this material to Maurice Broual. Maurice Broual abandoned the project when Michel and Pascal Lagrèze in 1987 bought all the equipment.
In 2007, I sold 5 chassis with their mechanics to the current owner, who at the end of a remarkable restoration work completed the restoration in 2013.
Delahaye 135MS is a two-seater roadster on a short, navy blue and light blue chassis, light blue leather upholstery, Marchal anti-fog headlamps, 18 "Rudge spoke wheels, 6cyl 3-carburettor engine and MS-type exhaust with six outlets in one, COTAL gearbox.
The bodywork has been redone in Guilloré or Figoni style. This car is worthy of being presented in the greatest elegance contests.
